Clubs and Communities in Impulse

Clubs and Communities are the heart of social activity in Impulse. Here, you can connect with like-minded individuals, participate in joint workouts, compete in rankings, and achieve new heights together.

What’s the Difference Between Clubs and Communities?

  • Clubs:
These are closed or open groups where members build long-term relationships. Clubs are perfect for those who train regularly and want to be part of a team with shared goals.

    • You can only belong to one club at a time.
    • Clubs focus on only one sport — Running.
    • Clubs participate in the overall club ranking in Impulse.
    • Switching clubs isn’t easy: if you leave a club, you’ll need to wait 30 days before joining another one.
    • Workouts must meet Impulse validation criteria to count towards the club and its statistics.

  • Communities:
These are open spaces for anyone who wants to share experiences, participate in collective online workouts, or simply meet new friends.

    • You can join an unlimited number of communities.
    • A community can be created for any available sport (currently, only one sport per community is supported).
    • There is no "community ranking," and communities do not compete with each other.
    • All workouts are counted toward the community, regardless of whether they meet Impulse validation criteria.
