Connecting Polar
If you have a Polar device, such as a watch, and you use the Polar Flow app to import your workouts, you can connect your account with Impulse. This will allow us to receive your training data.
To do this, log into your personal profile, click Add activities
and in opened dialog click Connect Polar
or in the profile settings click Connect
opposite the Polar icon.
Unfortunately, Polar only allows you to download training data after you connect your Polar account with Impulse, so we will not be able to retrieve the history of your previous workouts.
After a successful connection and initial synchronization, all future workouts created in Polar will automatically be imported into Impulse.
One Polar account can only be linked to one Impulse account. If you need to disconnect your Polar account from your Impulse account for any reason, you can do so in your profile settings using Disconnect
button opposite the Polar icon.
Did you know that...
If your Polar account has been previously linked to Strava, and you would like to upload your data to Impulse, please connect Strava with Impulse first, by following the instructions on this page.
However...
If you have linked your Polar account with Impulse and the same Polar account has been linked to Strava, when you link a Strava account with Impulse, we will receive training data from both Polar and Strava. In this scenario, the first activity imported will be considered the original data, and any subsequent workouts will be considered duplicates.
If you only use Polar, then you can disconnect Strava from Impulse in profile settings to avoid duplicates.
