Connecting Google Fit

Google Fit supports a wide range of devices. It provides basic data such as distance, duration, and even heart rate. However, it is not able to provide GPS training data or information about segments (split metrics).

In your profile settings, connect Google Fit and grant all requested access. We request minimal access to get only basic data about your workouts.

Do not be afraid of the warning

Google will soon stop supporting Google Fit (in mid-2025), so our app will no longer receive confirmation, without which Google will display a warning to users that our app is not verified.

Don't worry, it's okay, just click "Continue."

After connecting your Google Fit account, your recent workout data will be automatically added to your profile. If you would like to add more recent workouts, you can use the Add activities button in your profile and select a time period. Once you have selected the time period, click Start download to upload the data.

All new and recent workouts from Google Fit will be automatically added to your Impulse when you log in to your Impulse account. Google Fit doesn't notify us when you create a new workout, so we check for any recent workouts when you open your Impulse app profile.

If you would like to revoke our permission to download your workout data, please close the access to the "ihaveimpulse" application in your Google Account settings.
